Day 1: Departure to Malaga - Jerez de la Frontera
Departure to and arrival at the airport of Málaga. Welcome by our local host. Sightseeing of Malaga and a typical 'Malagan' tapas route in the blooming area around the cathedral. Later we have our transfer to Jerez de la Frontera. Diner and overnight stay at hotel Sherry Park 4* (or similar). 

 

Day 2: Jerez - Arcos de la Frontera - Jerez
Breakfast - Today we visit Jerez de la Frontera. Guided by our local guide we will see the famous bodega Tio Pepe, where we will discover Sherry and the typical tapas from there. In the afternoon we bring a visit to the peaceful place Arcos de la Frontera. A white town close by. Diner and overnight stay in hotel Sherry Park 4* (or similar).

 

Day 3: Jerez - San Lucar de Barrameda - Puerto Santa Maria
Breakfast - Exploration of San Lucar, a charming fishing town, known for its delicious sea fruits and beautiful beaches. We will enjoy local tapas with a delicious wine. In the afternoon we visit Puerto Santa Maria and the numerous bodegas. We will visit the one called 'Osborne'. Diner and overnight stay in hotel Macia Doñana 4* (or similar). 

 

Day 4: San Lucar - Cadiz - San Lucar
Breakfast - Visit to the city of Cadiz, one of the diamonds in Andalucia and a city with a rich history and beautiful cities. De city gained its fame by the cathedral. At noon we discover a typical tapas bar where we discover several kinds of sea fruits and fish. Every cook has his own little secret to give it extra taste. In the afternoon there is some free time to discover the city. Diner and overnight stay in hotel Macia Doñana 4* (or similar) in San Lucar.

 

Day 5: Sanlucar - Sevilla
Breakfast - Today we drive to the heart of Andalucia, to the capital of the region, Sevilla. We make a stroll through the historical city center and visit the park of Maria-Luisa, aside of the Alcazar and the cathedral. At noon we make a tapas route through the borough of Santa Cruz. We discover the Andalusian 'Salmorejo', a cold soup and many more local dishes. In the afternoon we visit the Plaza de España, followed by a panoramic tour through the impressive city. In the evening we are expected at a real Flamenco in 'Palacio Andaluz' with a typical diner. Overnight stay at hotel Alcazar 3* (or similar) in Sevilla.

 

Day 6: Sevilla - Carmona - Cordoba
Breakfast - Today we continue from Sevilla to Córdoba, with a stop in the charming white town of Carmona. We will have a degustation of a local wine in a cosy tapas bar. Afterwards we will make a stroll through the little narrow, white streets of town. In the afternoon we head for Córdoba. Diner and overnight stay in Hotel Tryp Los Gallos 3* (or similar).

 

Day 7: Córdoba - Granada
Breakfast - After breakfast we walk with our guide through the 'Judería' of Córdoba, aside of the famous Mezquita. There is some free time in this borough to visit the local gift shops, patios and mysterious little streets. At noon we visit the bodega Montilla Moriles where we will be served a local wine and typical tapas. We will discover 'Flamenquines', some kind of steak, Rabo de Toro (bull tail) and the famous 'Tarta de 3 chocolates'. In the afternoon we continue our trip to Granada. We follow a tapas route through the Albayzin, a charming borough from the Morish ages. We try things as 'Calvente', a typical wine from Granada with 'Jamon Serrano' and 'Queso Manchego' (goat cheese) as tapas. Diner and overnight stay in Best Western Dauro 3* (or similar) in Granada.

 

Day 8: Granada - Malaga - Home
Breakfast - Free morning in Granada, followed by the transfer to the airport of Malaga and the flight back home.
